Competition Entry Terms and Conditions

These Competition Entry Terms and Conditions will only be available from competition website 2023-GP-Competition-CPVouchers and 2023-GP-CPVouchers-Competiton-Terms.

  1. Competition and Promoter
    • 1.1. By entering the ‘Custom Plates 2023 Grand Prix CP Vouchers Competition’ (‘Competition’) and in consideration for the opportunity to participate in the Competition, each Entrant agrees to be bound by and observe these Competition Entry Terms and Conditions. Information on how to enter and details of the prize form part of these Competition Entry Terms and Conditions.
    • 1.2. The promoter of the Competition is the CP Services Victoria Ltd ABN 16 657 005 439 as trustee for Victorian CP Services Trust ABN 72 128 511 730 of Level 6, Rialto Building, 525 Collins Street, Melbourne, Victoria 3000 (‘Promoter’).
    • 1.3. The Formula 1® Rolex® Australian Grand Prix 2023 is scheduled to be held from 30 March to 2 April 2023 inclusive (‘Event’).
    • 1.4 The Organiser of the Event is the Australian Grand Prix ABN 86 947 927 465 PO Box 577, South Melbourne Victoria 3205 Australia (‘Organiser’).

     

  2. Who may enter?
    • 2.1. Subject to paragraph 2.2, entry into the Competition is open to all residents of Victoria aged 18 and over.
    • 2.2. Employees and immediate family members of employees of the Promoter or the Promoter’s associated agencies are not eligible to enter the Competition. For the purposes of these Competition Entry Terms and Conditions, immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or stepchild (whether natural or by adoption), parent, stepparent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, stepbrother, stepsister or first cousin.
    • 2.3. The Promoter will not accept any joint Entry.

     

  3. Competition Period
    • 3.1. The Competition commences at 9.00am Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) on Monday 27 March 2023 and closes at 11:59pm AEST on Sunday 9 April 2023 (‘Competition Period’).
    • 3.2. Entries not received during the Competition Period or not submitted in accordance with these Competition Entry Terms and Conditions will not be eligible to win. Entries are deemed to be received at the time they are received by the Promoter via the entry process in paragraph 4.1 and not at the time of submission by the Entrant. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, illegible, corrupted or misdirected entries, whether due to error, omission, alteration, tampering, deletion, theft, destruction, transmission interruption, communications failure or otherwise.
    • 3.3. The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel the Competition at any time before any winning Entrant (‘Prize Winner’) is notified.

     

  4. How to enter
    • 4.1. To be an Entrant in this Competition, a proposed Entrant must:
      (a)   scan with a mobile telephone the QR Code that appears on a Custom Plate flyer which will be distributed by the Promoter at Gate 2 and Gate 8 of the Event; and
      (b)   enter their first name, surname and email address (‘Details’) on the Competition webpage https://vplates.com.au/competitions/2023-GP-Competition-CPVouchers; and
      (d)   submit the Details via the Competition webpage https://vplates.com.au/competitions/2023-GP-Competition-CPVouchers; and
      (e)   read and consent to the Competition Entry Terms and Conditions, the Collection Notice and Privacy Policy.
    • 4.2.In these Competition Entry Terms and Conditions, an Entrant is defined as a person who completes the entry process and submits a completed Competition entry form (‘Entry’) via the Competition webpage (‘Entrant’).
    • 4.3. In these Competition Entry Terms and Conditions, an Entrant is defined as a person who completes and submits a completed Competition entry form (‘Entry’) via the Competition webpage (‘Entrant’).
    • 4.4 Each Entrant is limited to one entry only for the Competition. Any subsequent entries submitted by an Entrant will be automatically disqualified from the Competition.



  5. Selection and Notification
    • 5.1. At the end of the Competition Period, all Entries will go into a random draw conducted by the Promoter and four Entries will be declared the winning entries (‘Prize Winners’).
    • 5.2. Selection of the Prize Winners will be conducted by the Promoter on Monday 10 April 2023 at Level 6, Rialto Building, 525 Collins Street, Melbourne, Victoria 3000.
    • 5.3. The Promoter’s decision in relation to any and all aspects of the Competition is final and no correspondence will be entered into about the Promoter’s decision in respect of the Competition.
    • 5.4 The Prize Winners will be notified by telephone and email from the Promoter on Tuesday 11 April 2023.  The Prize Winners must acknowledge receipt of that email by return email by 5.00pm AEST Tuesday 18 April 2023 (‘Due Date’).If the Promoter does not receive an email from a Prize Winner acknowledging the award of a Prize by the Due Date, the Promoter will select a Replacement Prize Winner.
    • 5.5. All Entrants agree to provide the Promoter with identification and/or proof of age if selected as Prize Winners. The form of identification and/or proof of age required in case will be in the sole discretion of the Promoter.



  6. Prize
    • 6.1. A Prize Winner will, in accordance with these Competition Entry Terms and Conditions, win 1 x $495 Custom Plates voucher (‘Prize’).
    • 6.2. The Prize will be provided by the Promoter.
    • 6.3. The estimated value of the Prize is AU$495 (including GST).No part of the Prize is transferable or exchangeable. The Prize is not redeemable for cash and must be accepted as offered. The Voucher may be applied toward the cost of a more expensive Custom Plate. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of any part of the Prize between now and the Prize redemption date.

     

  7. Receiving the Prize and Replacement Prize Winner
    • 7.1. The Prize will be emailed to the Prize Winner on Wednesday 19 April 2023, unless the Prize Winner is a Replacement Prize Winner.
    • 7.2. The Promoter will notify a Replacement Prize Winner by email of the award of a Prize as soon as reasonably practicable after selection.  A Replacement Prize Winner must acknowledge receipt of the Promoter’s email by 5.00pm AEST on the 5th Business Day in Victoria after the email was sent (‘Acknowledgement Date’).
    • 7.3 If the Promoter does not receive an email from a Replacement Prize Winner by the Acknowledgement Date, the Promoter will select another Replacement Prize Winner until the Prize is awarded in accordance with these Competition Terms and Conditions.
    • 7.4. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for a Prize Winner’s or Replacement Prize Winner’s failure to receive a Prize due to an error or omission by the Prize Winner or Replacement Prize Winner, or any alteration, tampering with, theft or destruction of the Prize or any action or inaction by Australia Post once it has been posted by the Promoter to the Prize Winner’s or the Replacement Prize Winner’s nominated mailing address.
    • 7.5. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for a Prize after it is posted to a Prize Winner or Replacement Prize Winner.



  8. Consent to collection and use of Personal Details
    • 8.1 By entering the Competition and supplying the details as required on the Entry, each Entrant agrees to the Promoter collecting and using the Entrant’s personal information for the purposes of contacting the Entrant about the outcome of, or any marketing activities or programs associated with the Competition.
    • 8.2 The information collected in paragraph 8.1 may be used or disclosed as authorised or required by the Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014 (Vic), the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) or in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy at www.vplates.com.au/privacy including to any third parties, persons and organisations authorised by the Promoter for the purposes of paragraph 8.1.  Where these organisations and persons are located outside Victoria, the Entrant consents to his or her personal information being transferred outside of Victoria.
