R&L Services Victoria Pty Ltd (ACN 657 005 493) as trustee for the Victorian R&L Services Trust (ABN 96 342 123 072) is committed to protecting your privacy. Any personal information collected, handled, stored or disclosed about you through our services shall be managed in accordance with the principles of the Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014 (Vic) and the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

This collection notice explains how VicRoads handles the information we receive about you when you engage with us to enter the 2023 VicRoads AADA Convention Competition.

What information we are collecting
The information you give us by entering the 2023 Custom Plates AADA Convention Competition will be the information contained on your business card that includes your personal information, being your business name, business title, first name, surname, email address and telephone number.
Why we are collecting your information
We collect and use your information to facilitate your participation in the 2023 VicRoads AADA Convention Competition and to add your personal information as contained on your business card to our commercial contact list for direct marketing purposes.
We will collect your business card from you.
We collect and use your personal information to:
- To add your personal details to our commercial contact list for direct marketing purposes.
- process your competition entry and to determine whether you are eligible for entry into the competition
- conduct a random draw of all eligible competition entrants of the competition
- contact you in person (if you’ve been confirmed as the competition winner) to advise that you are the competition winner and that you’re required to confirm your identity
- manage delivery of the prize (if you are confirmed as the competition winner) for the PlayStation 5 gaming console and Grand Turismo PS5 game which is fulfilled by the CP Services Victoria
Anonymity
We respect your choice to remain anonymous, and you may interact with us anonymously where it is lawful and practicable for you to do so. However, sometimes, it may not be possible for us to provide information, deal with a complaint or perform other functions unless we can identify you.
A failure to provide sufficient information may result in us not being able to contact the eligible competition winner, resulting a new winner being randomly selected.
Commercial Contact List
Your personal information on your business card will be added to the VicRoads commercial contact list. From time to time, we may contact you about R&L and Custom Plates products.
If you do no longer wish to be part of our commercial contact list, you may opt out at any time by contacting us at [email protected].
Who we share your information with
Your personal information will be shared with VicRoads employees and others who need access to it as part of their duties as set out above, or otherwise as permitted by law.
We may also use or disclose your personal information where lawfully authorised to do so, such as to cooperate with law enforcement authorities, or to comply with the law.
