Competition Entry Terms & Conditions

1. Competition and Promoter

1.1. By entering the ‘2020 Custom Plates x Superbike World Championship Ultimate Experience Competition’ and in consideration for the opportunity to participate in the Competition, each entrant agrees to be bound by and observe these Conditions of Entry. Information on how to enter and prize details form part of these Conditions of Entry.

1.2. The promoters of the Competition are the Victorian Department of Transport and Roads Corporation trading as VicRoads ABN 61 760 960 480 of 60 Denmark Street, Kew, Victoria, 3101 (‘Promoter’).

1.3. The Organiser of the Event is PI SBK Pty Ltd ABN 36 108 623 730 of Back Beach Road, Cowes, Victoria 3922 (‘Organiser’).

2. Who may enter?

2.1. Subject to paragraph 2.2, entry into the Competition is open to all residents of Victoria aged 18 and over.

2.2. Employees (and immediate family members of employees) of the Promoter and its associated agencies are not eligible to enter the Competition.

2.3. The Promoter will not accept any joint entry.

3. Competition Period

3.1. The Competition commences at 12.00pm Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) on Wednesday 22 January 2020 and closes at 3:00pm AEST on Wednesday 5 February 2020 (Competition Period).

3.2. Entries not received during the Competition Period or not completed in accordance with these Conditions of Entry will not be eligible to win. Entries are deemed to be received at the time they are received and uploaded to the Competition webpage and not at the time of submission by the Entrant. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, illegible, corrupted or misdirected entries, whether due to error, omission, alteration, tampering, deletion, theft, destruction, transmission interruption, communications failure or otherwise.

4. How to enter

4.1. Entry into this Competition is only available through the Competition webpage,

4.2. To enter this Competition, you must complete the Competition entry form by providing your name, contact information and answer the following question: “Tell use about your first motorbike."

4.3. In these terms and conditions, an Entrant is defined as a person who completes and submits a Competition entry form via the Competition webpage (‘Entrant’).

5. Prize and notification

5.1. At the end of the Competition Period, all entries will be judged by the Promoter and one entry will be declared the winner.

5.2. Judging will be conducted by the Promoter on Monday 10 February 2020 at 60 Denmark Street, Kew, Victoria, 3101. The winning entry will be the one judged by the Promoter to be the most creative answer to the question “Tell us about your first motorbike.”

5.3. The entry deemed the winner by the Promoter in accordance with these Conditions of Entry will win 2 x 3-Day General Admission Tickets valid from 28 February to 1 March 2020, 2 x 10-minute Go Kart sessions and $195 Custom Plates Gift Voucher. The total prize value is $515.

5.4. The Promoter’s decision in relation to any and all aspects of the Promotion is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

5.5. The prize winner will be notified by phone on Wednesday 12 February 2020.

5.6. In the event that the winner judged by the Promoter is not contactable by the Promoter, or the winner does not respond to the notification that he or she has won the competition by 9:00am on Friday 14 February 2020, the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to the next best judged entry submitted.

5.7. The prizes are supplied by PI SBK ABN 36 108 623 730 (‘Organiser’) and issued by the Victorian Department of Transport and Roads Corporation trading as VicRoads ABN 61 760 960 480 of 60 Denmark Street, Kew, Victoria, 3101 (‘Promoter’).

5.8. In accepting the prize, the winner agrees that the Promoter is not involved in supplying or delivering the prize at the Event and therefore has no obligation or duty to the prize winner in relation to the prize.

5.9. The maximum total prize value is approximately AU$515.

5.10. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of the prize. The prize is not transferable or exchangeable. The prize is not redeemable for cash and must be taken as offered.

5.11. In the event that the Prize, or any part thereof, is not available for any reason, the Promoter may, at its absolute discretion, substitute the Prize or any part thereof, with an item of similar value.

6. Information for Prize Winner

6.1. All entrants agree to provide the Promoter with identification and/or proof of age if selected as a prize winner. The form of identification and/or proof of age are at the discretion of the Promoter.

6.2. The winners agree to comply with the Conditions of Entry, and any Attendance Conditions to the Event available at

6.3. The winners agree to comply with the Terms of Conditions of the Phillip Island Circuit Go Karts.


6.5. Spending money, meals and all other ancillary costs incurred as a result of taking the prize (including, without limitation, transport to and from the Event, airline and/or airport taxes and transfers, where applicable) are not included and remain the responsibility of the winners. All elements of the prize must be taken to coincide with the Event and any element not taken at the time(s) stipulated will be taken to be forfeited.

7. Consent to collection and use of Personal Details

7.1 By entering the Competition and supplying the details as required on the entry form the Entrant agrees to the Promoter and the Organiser collecting and using his/her personal information for the purposes of contacting the Entrant about Custom Plates and any marketing or programs associated with Custom Plates.
