Retro is the new modern. First issued between 1977 and 2000, our retro plates feature the original green and white ‘Garden State’ or blue and white ‘On the Move’ slogans. Perfect for those who want to add a touch of nostalgia or complete a car from that era.

Good to know

  • In keeping with the original style, these plates have combinations that are three letters followed by three numbers and come in standard size only.
  • Manufacturing processes of number plates have changed over time which means Retro plates aren’t an exact replica of the original plates issued between 1977 and 2000. Retro plates have a different font, and the slogans are printed rather than embossed.
